District Tennis Tournament:

It went a little something like this...

6:00 a.m. wake up
6:30 a.m. grab a breakfast taco from Margie's
6:45 a.m. get on bus
7:00 a.m. begin the drive to Uvalde
7:00-8:15 a.m. continuously get annoyed at the JV players who are being obnoxious while I'm trying to sleep
9:00 a.m. first round supposed to begin but we are watching it rain on the courts
9:00-12:00 continue to watch the rain and begin to make fun of the high schoolers who are attempting to use squeegies to dry the courts
1:00- first round begins
1:45- pull players off because courts are too slick due to the mist
2:30- put players back on, many finish
4:30- second round begins
many teams lose in this round
HOWEVER... # 1 girls doubles is advancing to the semi-finals and will play for 3rd and if they win that, they will possibly play for 2nd. AWESOME.

a rainy day but still a fun one! sad that the seniors are graduating.
