National Punctuation Day

September 24th was National Punctuation Day and I decided to celebrate it BIG! The English Department made shirts with different punctuation marks on them. I made a sign to hang in the English hallway and made cupcakes for the department with... what else?! punctuation marks on them!

My class went on a scavenger hunt to complete a story about punctuation and we read Punctuation Takes A Vacation! It was a fun day for everyone and I plan on celebrating it every year that I am an English teacher.
